auctions?
Are there any plans to implement a auction system similar to the system in WoW?
I am aware this game is nothing like WoW, but an auction system would greatly reduce the amount of trading spam and make trading a lot easier. |

That or....
That or they could implement a set of "Trade Districts" and disable trade chat in regular districts... It would at least minimize the trade spam in regular districts... personally... I just turn off trade chat when I'm not looking for something.

A trade district would be a great solution. But I doubt we want or need an auction system. There's no standard of exchange. Currently, people are trying to use gold, but gold is being created at far too fast a rate to be viable for long as a medium of exchange. Remember the SoJ economy in D2? We're headed that way. Probably use runes, but even these are not really scarce enough for an economy to develope using them.
With a trade district, we could swap items efficiently. |

Beradok: I always have the trade chat turned off, but there are a lot of people that don't use it and just spam the global chat.
A trade district may be a good idea, but it probably wouldn't stop people from spamming in the normal districts. |
